Number items, print pick labels, and set Whatnot prices
Show prep lives on Whatnot show sync (/app/shows). After you create a show, number the items, print labels for your piles, set starting bids, then export a CSV or start the eBay pause flow.
Callout numbers
- Create a show with the items you will sell.
- Items are numbered A1, A2, A3 by default. Change the letter prefix (for example B or FR) and tap Renumber.
- Each item stores its show number so labels and the Whatnot CSV stay in sync.
Print pick labels
Tap Print pick labels to open a print-friendly page (one label per item) with show number, SKU, bin/shelf, short title, and optional starting price. Use your browser Print dialog. The layout fits a simple 2-column grid on letter paper.
Starting bid, min floor, and BIN
- Starting bid defaults to Quick sale (lower sold quartile) when comps exist.
- Minimum is an internal don't-accept-below note for you during the show. Whatnot's CSV has no min/reserve column.
- Buy It Now defaults to Patient (upper quartile) or Recommended.
- When an imported eBay row has no comps yet, we fall back to the eBay list price and label it clearly.
- Tap Apply suggested prices to save them on the show. You can also bulk-edit selected items.
Net after Whatnot fees
Estimates use your editable commission percent (default 8% US base) plus a flat $0.30 per order. Real fees depend on your Whatnot tier, category, and payment processing. Treat the number as a guide. Your fee settings are remembered on your account.
Export with show numbers
When you export the show for Whatnot, leave Prefix title with show number on (default) so titles look like [A12] Vintage mug. SKU stays in the SKU column.
Fee model checked against Whatnot's public seller fees page (updated 2026-10-01): US base commission often 8% on item price, plus payment processing separately. Listing Ventures is not part of Whatnot.
