Tired of eBay's new AI listing camera? List from your own photos

Some sellers say the eBay app now pushes them into an AI camera flow when they start a listing. If you would rather work from photos you already took, Listing Ventures starts from your camera roll and lets you check every field before anything goes to eBay.

How it works from your photos

  1. Tap Create draft and choose Your photos. Pick the photos you already took from your camera roll or files. You can pick several at once.
  2. Tap Generate. A draft title, description and item specifics are written from your photos and notes, and sold and active listings are looked up for a price range.
  3. Open the eBay page for the draft. Every field can be edited: title, category, condition, item specifics, price, package and photos.
  4. Fix anything in the Needs attention box. Red Fix lines would make eBay reject the listing. Orange Check lines are guesses worth a quick look.
  5. Tap Publish and confirm. Nothing goes to eBay until you do.

What you still check

How to publish

Connect eBay once from Marketplace options. Pick your shipping, payment and return policies and a ship-from location. They are saved for next time. Then tap Publish on eBay and confirm.

Your photos stay yours

Your original photos are always kept. Your original photo is the cover by default. Background removal is optional and uses 1 photo credit per photo, and you can choose to use the cutout as the cover instead.

Listing Ventures is not part of eBay. It uses eBay's official selling tools after you connect your account, and it never posts without your OK.
