Export drafts to Whatnot with a CSV
Listing Ventures can turn one or more drafts into a CSV that Whatnot's bulk importer accepts. Photos stay on your draft as public HTTPS links. Nothing is sent to Whatnot until you upload the file yourself.
Steps
- Open a draft's eBay page, or select drafts on the home list or in bulk.
- Tap Export for Whatnot. Check category, subcategory, condition, starting price and shipping profile. Fix any red errors.
- Download whatnot-export-YYYYMMDD.csv.
- On a computer, open whatnot.com and go to Seller Hub → Inventory → Import from CSV. Choose the file and import.
- Your rows appear as draft listings in Whatnot Inventory. Add or check images, then publish or add them to a show.
What to check before download
- Category and subcategory must match Whatnot's list exactly. Unmapped items show Needs mapping until you pick from the list.
- Shipping profile must be a profile name from Whatnot's template, or the exact name of a custom profile you already created in Whatnot.
- Photo URLs must be public https links. Listing Ventures uses your saved draft photos for this.
- Each CSV import creates new drafts on Whatnot. It does not update existing ones by SKU.
Fees estimate
The prep panel shows an estimated net after a commission percent you can edit (default 8%) plus $0.30. Real fees depend on your Whatnot tier and category. Treat the number as a guide.
Built to match Whatnot's bulk import help pages as of October 6, 2026. If import fails, email support@listingventures.com with the error and we will update the mapping. Listing Ventures is not part of Whatnot.
